Burger King, PayPal Join Forces So Consumers Can Buy Whoppers With A Touch Of Their Phones

Consumers partial to using PayPal for purchases can soon take the payment system offline to buy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Burger King.

PayPal announced Monday that it would soon be integrated into the Burger King app so that customers can pay for their meals without having cash or a credit card on hand.

The new system enables customers to simply select “pay with PayPal” on the app and enter a four-digit PIN to complete their purchase.

Officials with PayPal say the payment option should be rolled out nationwide by the end of the year.

In addition to its collaboration with Burger King, PayPal announced a new service that would allow customers to pay for their purchases after they’ve been delivered.

Pay After Delivery gives consumers up to 14 days after purchase to pay for their goods. Officials say this give customers more access to resources and flexibility in how and when they want to pay.
